Buehrer Power Equipment Ohio - History
In 1955 Eldred and Rosella Buehrer started Buehrer Welding Supply. It was a sideline business to their dairy and farming operation selling welders and supplies out of their 80 square foot milk-house. Originally the part-time business was located near Archbold on a rented farm.
In 1962 the business moved to its present location. At that time they diversified into a completely different product group and that was garden and lawn equipment. Simplicity was the first brand taken on and then other brands of premium products and lawn equipment were added over the years. In January 1992 the business was incorporated and the name changed to Buehrer Power Equipment, Inc. which would better reflect the type of products offered. Over the years Buehrer has grown in sales and size. Today they have over 14,000 square feet under roof. They employ five full-time and two part-time employees.
Service is an important part of any business and that is how Buehrer Power Equipment has grown over the years. They offer parts and service for all lawn equipment and power equipment that they sell. The service technicians are trained by factory personnel. The parts department carries a large supply of parts which allows it to boast of its excellent fill rate. The whole business is computerized to better serve their customers by being more efficient with all customer records at their fingertips.
Buehrer Power Equipment is conveniently located near the areas of Bryan, Defiance, Wauseon, and Napoleon.
